Claude Connector
Connect FlowGuideAI to Claude
Add https://mcp.flowguideai.com/mcp as a custom connector in Claude.ai and authenticate with your FlowGuideAI account.
Available across Claude web, desktop, and mobile (iOS/Android).
Setup in 3 Steps
Open Claude's Connectors settings
In Claude.ai (web or desktop):
1. Click your profile icon in the lower-left corner
2. Choose Settings
3. Select Connectors in the sidebar
Add FlowGuideAI as a custom connector
1. Click Add custom connector
2. Name: FlowGuideAI
3. URL: https://mcp.flowguideai.com/mcp
4. Click Add
Connect your FlowGuideAI account
1. Find FlowGuideAI in the Connectors list and click Connect
2. Sign in with your FlowGuideAI account
3. Approve the requested permissions
4. You will be redirected back to Claude — FlowGuideAI is now connected

- Claude generates revised content incorporating the new section
- Claude calls fgai_update_document with the new content and change summary

Search compliance documents
"Find my HIPAA documents and tell me which ones reference our vendor risk assessment"
- Claude calls fgai_search_documents filtered by compliance and HIPAA
- Claude calls fgai_get_document for each match
- Claude analyzes content and identifies cross-references

When Claude tries a tool above your subscription tier, FlowGuideAI returns a clear upgrade message. Your conversation continues.

Troubleshooting
"Tier required" message
The tool you tried requires a higher subscription tier. The message includes the upgrade link. Visit flowguideai.com/pricing to upgrade, or ask Claude to use a different approach available in your tier.
Authentication fails
Verify your FlowGuideAI account at webapp.flowguideai.com. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the connector. Clear your browser cookies for mcp.flowguideai.com and try again. Contact support@flowguideai.com if the issue persists.
"Document not found"
The document may have been deleted, or it's in a different workspace than Claude searched. Try searching across all your workspaces, or specify which workspace to look in.
Claude doesn't seem to use FlowGuideAI
Verify FlowGuideAI is connected in Settings → Connectors. Verify it's enabled for your conversation (click the tools menu in the chat). Be explicit: "Use FlowGuideAI to..."
Page limit reached
Each tier has a monthly page generation limit (Free: 15, Lite: 50, etc.). Either upgrade your plan or wait until next month's billing cycle resets the counter.
Privacy and Security
- OAuth-only authentication. Claude never receives your FlowGuideAI password.
- Token-based access. Revoke Claude's access at any time from FlowGuideAI account settings.
- Audit trails preserved. Every document save creates a new revision; nothing is overwritten.
- HTTPS-only. All MCP traffic is encrypted in transit.
- No model training on your content. FlowGuideAI does not train our models on your content. Your documents and evidence are stored in FlowGuideAI's infrastructure and are never used to train FlowGuideAI's AI capabilities or any AI model owned or operated by FlowGuideAI.
- Not attestation. FlowGuideAI assists with drafting; it does NOT certify documents for audit submission.
