How it works

STEP 1

Pick a template

Or describe what you need in plain English — e.g. "contract review SOP for our 3-person legal team." FlowGuideAI matches you to the closest template or generates a starting-point document from your description.

STEP 2

Answer 4–6 questions

The AI asks about scope, jurisdiction, internal contacts, and review thresholds. Specifics get baked into the document; anywhere you don’t have a definitive answer the AI inserts a [VERIFY:] marker for your team to resolve before adoption.

STEP 3

Review with counsel

Export to Markdown / PDF / DOCX, route through your usual legal review process, and adapt the language to your firm’s house style and your jurisdiction’s requirements. The generated document is a structured first draft, not a finished policy.

Why legal ops teams use FlowGuideAI

  • Honest framing: every page carries the disclaimer that this is documentation tooling, not legal advice. We won’t pretend the AI is your attorney.
  • GDPR Privacy Notice template walks through Articles 13/14 disclosures (controller status, legal bases, retention periods, transfer safeguards, data subject rights) — built around the actual regulation rather than a vague checklist.
  • Privacy-first: nothing about your matters or clients is required for generation, and we don’t train on your inputs.
  • Tiered pricing scales from solo legal ops (free, 15 pages/mo) to enterprise legal departments (5,000+ pages/mo, multi-workspace).

Frequently asked questions

Is FlowGuideAI a substitute for a lawyer?
No, and we’re explicit about that on every legal-template page. FlowGuideAI generates structured first drafts of policies and procedures — useful for legal ops teams to skip the blank-page problem — but the output is not legal advice. Your in-house counsel or outside attorney must review and adapt every document before it’s adopted, distributed, or relied upon. The generated GDPR Privacy Notice template ends with this disclaimer baked in: "This Privacy Notice was drafted with AI assistance and must be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel before publication."
What types of legal documents can FlowGuideAI generate?
Process and procedure documents (contract intake / triage, matter management, outside counsel engagement, legal hold), internal policies (acceptable use, DSAR procedures, records retention), and privacy disclosures (GDPR Privacy Notice, CCPA disclosure language, cookie policies). FlowGuideAI does not generate contracts, pleadings, demand letters, or any document intended to be filed with a court or sent as a binding legal instrument — those require an attorney.
Does FlowGuideAI generate jurisdiction-specific language?
The guided GDPR Privacy Notice and similar privacy templates include jurisdiction inputs (e.g. EU vs UK GDPR, country-specific supervisory authority references). For other documents you can specify jurisdiction in the prompt and the AI tailors language accordingly. That said, jurisdiction-specific accuracy is precisely the area where attorney review is most important — the AI knows about widely-published frameworks but can’t replicate counsel’s knowledge of recent case law, local administrative practice, or your specific situation.
How does FlowGuideAI handle privileged information?
The AI generates from the descriptions you provide — process names, system names, escalation paths. Nothing about specific matters, client identities, or privileged content is required for generation, and we recommend never pasting privileged content into the prompt. We don’t train models on user inputs. Enterprise tier adds BYOK (bring your own AI key) so requests route through your firm’s approved AI provider rather than ours, which addresses some firms’ vendor-AI restrictions.
Can I store my standard contract templates in FlowGuideAI?
FlowGuideAI is a documentation generator, not a contract management or repository system. Generated documents are stored in your FlowGuideAI workspace until you export and delete, but for active contract management (negotiation, version tracking, signature workflow, matter management) you’d use a CLM tool like Ironclad / Linksquares / Agiloft. FlowGuideAI is the layer above that — generating the policy and procedure docs that govern how those tools are used.
How does pricing work for a small legal ops team?
Free tier (15 pages/mo, no credit card) lets you generate ~3-5 medium documents to evaluate. Lite ($10/mo, 50 pages) suits a one-person legal ops function. Starter ($30/mo, 150 pages) unlocks the full compliance template category including the guided GDPR Privacy Notice. Pages reset monthly. Overage above the cap is billed monthly with a $2 minimum threshold so small overruns are absorbed.
Can our outside counsel review FlowGuideAI-generated documents directly?
Yes — exports go to PDF / DOCX / Markdown / HTML, all formats outside counsel can mark up in their normal review workflow. Many legal ops teams generate the structured first draft in FlowGuideAI, export to DOCX, and email to counsel for redline. Document attribution: every export includes a footer noting AI-assisted drafting; this is good practice both for your records and for outside counsel’s engagement letter language.
