How it works

STEP 1

Pick a template

Or describe a procedure — e.g. "SOP for replacing the air filter on a [specific equipment model], including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout steps." FlowGuideAI matches you to the closest template or builds from your description.

STEP 2

Answer 4–6 questions

The AI asks about scope, equipment, safety requirements, frequency, and approver. Specifics shape the document; gaps are flagged with [VERIFY:] markers — for ops docs especially, you don’t want fabricated step numbers or wrong torque specs.

STEP 3

Print and post

PDF export prints cleanly for posting at workstations. DOCX export drops into your existing manual structure. Markdown export goes to wikis. Every doc is fully editable so you can match your facility’s naming conventions and revision-control workflow.

Why ops teams choose FlowGuideAI

  • From description to document in minutes — formalize the procedures your senior operators run from memory before they retire.
  • AI marks uncertainty with [VERIFY:] flags rather than inventing torque specs / part numbers / step counts. Critical for safety-relevant docs.
  • Privacy-first: nothing about your equipment or processes is sent anywhere outside the AI generation request, and we don’t train on inputs.
  • Tiered pricing scales from solo plant manager (free, 15 pages/mo) to multi-site operations org (5,000+ pages/mo, multi-workspace per facility).

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of operations documents can FlowGuideAI generate?
Standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety and PPE checklists, equipment startup / shutdown procedures, daily operations checklists, field service runbooks, ticket triage procedures, customer site visit checklists, equipment troubleshooting flows, quality control inspection procedures, non-conformance reporting flows, calibration schedules, and audit-readiness documentation. Both step-by-step procedures and narrative process descriptions are supported.
Can FlowGuideAI generate procedures for specific equipment models?
You can specify the equipment in the prompt and the AI tailors language accordingly — but you should not rely on the AI for safety-critical specifics like exact torque values, electrical ratings, or chemical concentrations. Anywhere the AI doesn’t have manufacturer-verified data, it inserts a [VERIFY:] marker rather than guessing. Always cross-check against the manufacturer’s manual before posting an equipment-specific SOP at a workstation.
Is this suitable for safety-critical documentation like lockout/tagout procedures?
FlowGuideAI generates a structured first draft of LO/TO procedures based on the equipment and process you describe. The output covers the standard structure (energy sources, isolation devices, verification steps, restart authorization) but is explicitly not a substitute for a qualified safety engineer’s review and the equipment-specific manufacturer guidance. Treat the generated document as a starting framework that your safety lead reviews and signs off before adoption — same workflow you’d use for a contractor-provided draft.
How do exports look on a printed shop-floor poster?
PDF export uses a clean print-friendly layout: title at top, section headers, numbered steps, no marketing chrome on the printed page. Free tier prints carry a small watermark; Starter and above are clean. Many ops teams print at 11x17 (tabloid) for workstation posting and use letter-size for binder copies — both formats render correctly. Step numbers are stable across the document so you can reference "Step 14" in training without it shifting after a small edit.
Can I generate procedures in languages other than English?
The AI primarily generates in English. For other languages, the typical workflow is: generate in English, export, run through your translation provider, and have a bilingual lead review for terminology accuracy (especially for technical or safety terms where translation tools sometimes pick the wrong meaning). Native multi-language generation is on the roadmap but not currently available.
How does pricing work for a multi-site operations team?
For multi-site ops the typical landing tier is Business ($375/mo, 5,000 pages) or Enterprise (custom). Business tier includes multi-workspace support — separate workspace per site or business unit — sharing one page pool. Enterprise adds custom page allowance, BYOK (bring your own AI key), and SSO via SAML for IT-managed access. Pages reset monthly; overage above the cap is billed once at end-of-month with a $2 minimum threshold so small overruns are absorbed.
Does FlowGuideAI store equipment specifications or proprietary process data?
Generated documents live in your FlowGuideAI workspace until you export and delete. We don’t train AI models on user inputs. For ops teams with strict IP or proprietary-process concerns, Enterprise tier supports BYOK — generation requests route through your AI provider rather than ours, which addresses many vendor-AI restrictions. Either way, it’s good practice to avoid pasting the most sensitive proprietary specs into the prompt itself; describe the process, fill in the specifics during your review pass.
